Bondi is famous for its great sandy beach, as well as its amazing surfing. It is a well-developed and stylish shore resort, which is very famed. Bondi offers plenty of dining facilities which provide a great view on the beach.
The beach is backgrounded by gorgeous parkland, where you can rest, play games or just stroll. Many rollerbladers, skaters and cyclists frequent the place. There is an amazing walkway at the beach, which goes along the shore, around the headland.
If you will set off for the northern headland, you can also observe one of Sydney's Aboriginal places. There are some incredible Aboriginal rock engravings in the golf course, which you may watch during the game breaks.
At the southern part there is a superb shore walk which takes you past lots of smaller bays until you come to Coogee, which is also worth it. The views are breathtaking and though the walk is somewhat exhausting, it is also peaceful and very pleasant.
Bondi lures plenty of people of all ages and interests. You can train surfing on Bondi that is a must over here. If you already know how to surf but have no own board, you can rent both the equipment and boogie boards in the small rent shop on Bondi. The lockers are also provided and you can keep your valuable staff safe there when swimming or surfing.
You can reach Bondi Beach from Sydney downtown on bus 380, 333 (prepay only), 382 and 389 (you are to change buses at Bondi Junction). Or take the train to Bondi Junction, and from there you may either walk or get a bus onto Bondi Beach.
In Bondi you may choose from the whole range of accommodation including hostels, hotels and bed and breakfasts.
