natal-beachNatal is sometimes called the City of the Sun. It boasts some of the fastest developing beach infrastructure in Brazil. The beaches here are divided in the following categories: Urban, North of Natal and South of Natal Beaches. In the first category the most popular are Praia do Meio, Via Costeira and Ponta Negra.

The northern shore is located parallel to the Equatorial line, the eastern shore intersects the northern one at a right angle. The weather in the northern coast is usually rainy and windy. Other renowned beaches are: Touros and Maracajaú (north of Natal), Búzios and Pipa (south of Natal) and many other smaller tourist places.

The main roads here is BR-101, which runs along the shore from the south. BR-304 runs from Natal to Moçoró and then to Fortaleza.

The climate of Natal is tropical, and the temperature fluctuates between 25 and 32 C and the best time to visit the place is ideal in summer after October.

There are a lot of luxury hotels in Natal that provide huge beds, sunken tubs, ceiling fans with room and renting costs range between $100-$300, including daily breakfast.
