This beach is located in 63 km from Natal.  The major lure of Maracajaú is the "parrachos". During the ebb tide, the water gets encircled by the reefs, 7 km off the coast. Large natural pools are moulded, reffered as parrachos; they unite calm water with plenty of marine life. The shallowest pool can be of 2 meters deep and the deepest one 8 meters. Also you can visit a big water park, Ma-noa Park in Maracajáu.
