| Leblon Beach |  Leblon Beach is located right in the center of Rio and one of the many fascinating places of the town. Allah’s Gardens separate it from Ipanema beach, it is the place of contrasts, as here you may observe both unsafe favelas with constant street fights in the lower region, but also exciting residential areas on the upper coast.
Here is the place where most of the famed buildings and luxury hotels are located. You could get a room in Marina Hotel that is one of the most expensive accommodation choices if you would like to relish sunsets from your veranda.
The beach is family-friendly and provides many attractions to its tourists, children as well as adults may play here and erect some fantastic white sand castles.

Leblon beach is also a place of fine stalls where you can sip cerveja and enjoy watching people laying down on their bright kangas or walking along the beach. Enthusiastic photographers may also find marvelous scenery to catch while strolling along Leblon beach.
This delightful area of Rio is also famed for its refined restaurants serving delicious Brazilian dishes.
Another site you should visit is located in the area nearby Leblon. It is the controversial favela (community) of Vidigal. If you would like to have a tour, by all means avoid getting there at night.
