Both islands - Koro and Gau have great beaches scattered around but getting to them is difficult as there is no official accommodation on either island and no public transport.

Lau Group
It is a mass of small islands scattered amongst a vast ocean. There would be no problem for sailors to find secluded beaches but for everyone else it is difficult getting there.

Rotuma
Rotuma is famous among beach lovers with over a dozen beaches of outstanding natural beauty all within a days walk. The only problem is the islands remoteness and the lack of accommodation - here it is home stay accommodation only.

There is a fine and almost white sandy beach at Oinafa Bay. You may enjoy the bay that is shallow with a sandy bottom and is excellent for playing around and body surfing.

Making it an idyllic location, Juju Beach is set within a shallow lagoon.

Set away from any village Vaioa Beach is seldom visited. It is one of the most famous beaches in Fiji with excellent sand, thick vegetation with hardwood trees and coconut palms that reach over the sea and an impressive sheer rock wall to one side. Enjoy body surfing and snorkeling here.

The outstanding palm-fringed beaches at Fapufa and Losa are both set alongside small pretty villages. There is an impressive view and walk along the coastline where the sea crashes into the black volcanic rocks at Fapufa.
