| Hanalei Bay, Kauai |  Hanalei Bay is circled with a white sand beach. The neighboring mountains hold this bay and, in the early morning when the ocean is like glass, it reflects the beauty of the cliffs.
This area is famous for great surfing and many locals as well as guests visit the spot. On the east side of the long beach the Hanalei Pier is located where the Hanalei River enters the ocean. You may head for the Princeville Resort and golf courses which are just on the other side of the river.

Warnings: There may be strong currents, dangerous shore break, high surf, sudden drop off, sharp coral and slippery rocks.
