| Baga Beach | Baga is a little fishing beach with a number of shaded palms growing close to the water’s edge. There are hardly any buses that come to the beach, and none in the evening. It is rather a long walk to the Calangute taxi, so if you want to stay there after sundown, you should think over having your own transport.
Baga is actually an extension of Calangute beach, and contrasting to Calangute, which is usually overcrowded, steep and blemished by dangerous undercurrents, the beach at Baga is smooth, safe for swimming, and has pure, white sand.
Also Baga is quite popular with topless sunbathers. You may undertake some activity of different water sport kinds or fishing. In the evening nightlife enthusiasts frequently visit Tito's - one of the liveliest places of Goa's night entertaiment.
You may visit Baga’s Saturday night flea market and buy some colorful Kashmiri handlooms or other items all along the beach road.
