| Seven Seas |  Nearby the coastal town of Fajardo there are some of the most stunning beaches in the northeast of the island. The excellent white sands of Seven Seas Beach lure locals and guests to this comfortable stretch of shore. It is an ideal place to snorkel, the shallow sea bottom at Seven Seas is full with tropical fish, coral reefs and an wealth of other sea life. The waves are kept down due to the offshore reefs and rough trade winds turn the place into the perfect place for sailing and windsurfing. And many of those who like camping settle here after obtaining a permit for that.
There are plenty of water sports facilities, as well as a range of uninhabited islands that provide a secluded piece of tropical Eden and more incredible snorkeling. Some local hotels and tour agencies offer day excursions to proximate coral reefs such as Palominos, Icacos, Palominitos, and Diablo.
