| Guadalmina Beach | Due to its location and features Guadalmina Beach is found within the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, nearby the Guadalmina urbanization, of a 1.600 m long and 30 m wide beach with thick pure sand that is usual for this area of the Mediterranean.
It can be characterized as a tourist beach with an average occupation level. One may practice different water sports here such as windsurf, jet skiing, pedalos, and many more. You may enjoy various services offered, such as the 4-star Guadalmina Hotel, 2 beach clubs and 2 "chiringuitos" (beach restaurants) with sun beds. Close to the beach area you may observe Bovedas, 3rd century historic ruins, located within a guarded archaeological area.
The water is quite pure here, in good sanitary conditions, and the beach was granted the blue flag in 1992. The urban cleaning delegation performs the every day cleaning of the beach, in summer as well as in winter, manually and mechanically.
